Sexy actress and producer Yvonne Nelson has put aside her enviable friendship with actor John Dumelo and registered her abhorrence with a statement John made on President John Mahama and the current unspeakable ‘dumsor’ situation in Ghana.
Dumelo who openly campaigned for President John Mahama in 2012 sought to defend President John Mahama and his current style of governance asking Ghanaians to stop putting unnecessary pressure on him in an interview with Starr FM Wednesday.
“We should just give him [Mahama] time to solve the problems, the problems are there but it's four years, Rome wasn’t built in a day… and if after 2016 the problems are not solved then we know what to do.
“But I think a lot of people are putting pressure on him and it’s not as if he doesn’t want to solve the problems, he does so we should just give him time”, John stated in the said interview.
Just hours after her buddy John Dumelo urged Ghanaians to be patient with the government, the actress currently gearing to release her Becca feature If Tommorow Never Comes went on a social media rant to register her disgust with the current Dumsor situation Ghanaians find themselves.
The actress in a series of tweets wrote;
“It’s so sad, this dumsor crap is here to stay! They will just not tell the people the truth! They’ll wait and let us get used to it!”
“The minute people in government start investing in generators will be the end of Ghana. They will make sure the Dumsor continues forever and ever.”
“I can never get used to it! How does our economy grow? Businesses are closing! Kids in school are failing! What a shame.”
