Ghana’s number one urban youth radio station, YFM, will be holding a fun-filled day of activities to celebrate all Taxi Drivers in the country. Tommorrow 1st May, Taxi Drivers within the Capital Cities of Accra, Kumasi and Takoradi, where YFM currently broadcasts from , will stand the chance of winning amazing prizes including goody bags and several gallons of fuel.
According to Nana Kwame Osei Sarpong (Nockus), Head of Strategy for the Y Triangle (Accra, Takoradi, Kumasi), “When it comes to workers’ day, everybody tends to forget Taxi Drivers. We at YFM know the important role they play in the lives of the average Ghanaian. Also, Taxi drivers form an important segment of our listenership base, and we are therefore using the Workers’ Day holiday to reach out to them and have some fun with them.”
