Ace morning show host and managing partner in-charge of programmes at Top Media Group (Top FM/Top TV), Ekourba Gyasi Collins popularly known as Ekourba Gyasi, leaves to Atinka FM to host “Am Drive” and also the programs manager.
Ekourba Gyasi led the re-branding of the station from Top Radio to now Top FM, before then he had been the programs manager and morning show host at Hot Fm.
He also had a stint with Adom FM as morning show host after leaving Happy FM as the morning show host and programs manager.
Earlier in his career he was part of the pioneer presenters of Ghana Broadcasting Cooperation; Uniq FM in Accra and Sunrise FM at Koforidua.
Every radio presenter I know has his own style of presenting his show and that style doesn’t vary regardless of where they find themselves. Ekourba is no exception, because it is something I have observed since he became a morning show presenter within the Accra area and every radio station in this country will love to employ such an intelligent gentleman.
His style is simple, present the issue and let the audience have their say and then bring in the experts (that would be synonym for social commentators) to share their views on the matter and then it is discussed.
Ekourba is not the kind presenter who attempts hard questions and strictly no long intro to the question.
Ekuorba is married and blessed with three lovely kids.
It seems the journeyman from Windy Bay Radio, Uniq FM, Sunshine Radio, Happy FM and Adom FM, Hot FM, Top FM has found a home at Atinka FM.
Would this be the last or just the rest stop until he continues the journey?
