After weeks of exciting and thrilling performances from young talented Ghanaian kids on TV3’s annual programme Talented Kids, Star Dance Crew, a group made up of three young dancers from the Apostle Safo School of Arts and Science primary school was crowned winners at the Season VI finale which was held at the National Theatre in Accra, Ghana.
The show also saw performances from former winners of the programme including Tutulapato and winners of last year’s edition Tweenies.
The finale was hosted by Josie.
The show, which took off at exactly 4:30 pm, was opened with exciting performances from the Monarch Band, winners of season 4.
Prior to being declared winners, the group performed with its mentor Andy Dosty.
They won gift items from sponsors and a cash prize of 10,000 cedis, a plaque and a certificate from the organizers TV3, three tablets, and 6,000 cedis from First Banc to set up an endowment fund for them.
Elijah Kwaku Boateng, an awesome drummer came second runner-up with a cash price of 5000 cedis, a plaque, a certificate, a tablet and an amount from First Banc to set up an endowment fund for them.
Gideon Boateng, popularly known as J-Nice emerged third and walked away with 4,500 cedis. He also got a plaque, a certificate, a tablet and an amount from First Banc to set up an endowment fund for them.
The only comedian in the finals, Ronald Odame (Thick Tall) placed fourth with a cash prize of 4,000 cedis. He walked away with a plaque, certificate, a tablet and an amount from First Banc to set up an endowment fund for them.
