Other edition of the MTN 4Syte TV Music Video Awards #MTN4SYTEMVA came off last night Saturday 14th November at the Accra International Conference Center (AICC).
Afro-Dancehall act Stonebwoy was the biggest winner at the 7th edition of MTN 4Syte Music Video Awards taking home 3 awards; “Best Reggae/Dancehall Video”, “Best Directed Video” and the “Most Influential Artiste” awards. Versatile act, E.L, also bagging 2 awards; “Best Special Effect” and the “Best Edited Video” awards.
The awards ceremony started very late around 11:20pm but thanks to Dj Black whosaved the ceremony with his unique and outstanding way of 'deejaying'.
The Awards ceremony saw some great and amazing performances from Shatta Wale, Stonebwoy, Kiss Daniel, R2bees, Keche and others.
Hosted by two hottest celebrities John Dumelo and Joselyn Dumas
This year's award ceremony was also graced with the presence of legendary Nigerian act 2Face Idibia.
The most talked about and memorable moment on the night was when Shatta Wale joined Stonebwoy on stage during the latter’s acceptance speech.
This years awards ceremony has again received some serious criticisms by somepersonalities; like Kwaw Kese, C-Real and many more, who believe the award were biased and poor organisation.
