After being forced to postpone what would have been her first show in Lagos, Nigeria, Miss Lauryn Hill has released a video apologizing to her numerous fans who were expecting her in the country over the weekend.
The singer posted on Facebook over the weekend an apology video of her performing an acoustic version of her hit “Doo Wop (That Thing)”.
Explaining why she couldn’t make it to Lagos, she said, “Hello Lagos. Listen, we’re very sorry we couldn’t be there with you tonight. We were at the airport for seven hours yesterday trying to get to you.”
“But we’re gonna make it there, we’re gonna get there. We wish everyone a wonderful evening, and we’re gonna leave you with this,”
