Shatta Wale has revealed it’s a good thing Samini has endorsed his Kakai song.
Asked about his favorite Samini song and how he feels about Samini’s endorsement, Shattta Wale told Joy FM;
“I like all my songs but there is a saying in life that it’s only a fool who doesn’t change his mind; so if there are stuff like that, I think it’s a good thing.”
Talking about what he would change about Ghana’s music industry if he had the power, Shatta revealed;
“I will make sure our royalties are being paid to us because I hear people saying our royalties are being paid but when I head great performers like Amakye Dede, Kojo Antwi, Daddy Lumba’s story…. Recently I heard Amakye Dede went to take his royalties they were offering him 2 million or 2.5 million which is 250 Cedis which I believe is an insult to someone like Amakye Dede and I feel that contributes poverty among Ghanaian musicians. That’s why most of the people in the industry fighting and start speak about.”
