I never said to battle with Sarkodie but says no African rapper can battle with me - Rapper denies

Flowking Stone has debunked reports which suggest that he called on one time BET Award winner, Sarkodie to engage in a rap battle to prove who is worth Ghana’s rap king crown.

One of Ghana’s fastest  rappers, Kwaku Nsiah Boamah known in showbiz circles as Flowking Stone has debunked reports which suggest that he called on one time BET Award winner, Sarkodie to engage in a rap battle to prove who is worth Ghana’s rap king crown.

In an exclusive interview with Pulse.com.gh, Stone of Bradez’s fame stated categorically that reports about his rap battle with Sarkodie are false.

“I didn’t say that and I never mentioned Sarkodie in my interview. What I said was that, if anyone wants to put me in a (rap) battle, it should be Eninem or Kendrick Lamar. I don’t think you should put me in battle with any rapper in Ghana and Africa,” he said.

According to the rapper, even his own brother, 'rap docta' Okyeame Kwame, who is considered by many Ghanaians and across Ghana as a rap legend, should not be compared to him when it comes to rap because he knows all the components of rap and makes more sense with rhymes.

“Everybody in Ghana including Okyeame Kwame, Sarkodie, Reggie Rockstone, and the rest can’t rap and rhyme better than I do. You should listen to my flow. We can go fast, we can go slow; but anytime we do both, I always make sense out of it.

“Apart from that, the type of punches we do is not the usual type of punches you hear on daily basis. There are few rappers in the world who can rap very fast and make sense out of whatever they are saying.

“For us (Africans), we use African rhythm, drums and the rest to flow and every single word in it makes a lot of sense. Meaning, tune, flow, style, attitude are always on point, no ‘nofa’ and punches that would take you three days to understand is what I do.

“All these rap components are found on ‘Mekyea Kyea’, ‘To Stronger’ and other songs I have recorded,” he stated.

He finally reacted to assertions made by some Ghanaians that he is only seeking for attention to promote his music video for his latest single titled “Mekyea Kyea” which features cameo from almost 40 Ghanaian celebrities.

“I just woke up and it (the news) was all over the internet that I want to battle Sarkodie. It is not true. If people think I want to seek for attention, it is their own cup of tea,” he concluded.
