Ghanaian musicians 2012 BET award winner Sarkodie and and 2015 VGMA Artiste of the year Stonebwoy have been nominated for the 2015 BET Awards. The two artiste of the year award-winners were nominated for the Best International African Act category at this year’s event.
This marks Sarkodie’s third nomination (2012, 2014 and 2015) in the award ceremony which he jointly won with Wizkid in 2012
Ghanaian, Uk based Afrobeatz artiste and Azonto hit maker Fuse ODG was also nominated for Best International Act, UK category
Sarkodie and Stonebwoy compete the award with African artistes like; Wizkid (Nigeria), THE SOIL (South Africa) Fally Ipupa (Congo), Yemi Alade (Nigeria), , AKA (South Africa).
This year’s BET Awards comes off from 25th to 28th June 2015 in Los Los Angeles, USA.
RnB singer Chris Brown and rapper Nicki Minaj lead the pact with six nominations.
The BET Awards are celebrating 15 years of the biggest night in hip hop.
