GHANA: Ghana Journalists Association Awards 2015 – Full list of Winners

A selected number of journalists who has the accreditation or registered as members of the Ghana Journalists Association, were awarded Saturday night at the Association’s Annual Awards Ceremony for the good work done and outstanding performance in journalism, in their contribution of the development of the Nation.

The awards ceremony which was held on saturday 15th Banquet Hall in Accra was attended by the President of the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency John Dramani Mahama as the Special Guest of Honour and Most. Rev. Prof. Emmanuel Asante who chaired the ceremony

President John Dramani Mahama who was the special guest of honour at the awards ceremony presented the overall award which was won by Seth Kwame Boateng of Multimedia.

Multimedia’s Seth Kwame Boateng has been crowned Journalist of the Year at the 20th Ghana Journalist Association awards.

A highly elated Boateng after receiving the award said, "Eight years ago, I prepared my speech. Every year, I rehearse the script. This afternoon, I picked it up and edited it. And here I am. God has been indeed good. I am grateful to God. It is a miracle... I didn’t dream a day like this will come.”
