If there’s any Awards show in Ghana that truly gets every Youth involved, it’s arguably the UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards. The event that awards Tertiary Students whose efforts in our Society are positively changing the lives of our people.
Youth Web Ghana, organizers of the Ghana Tertiary Awards, on Friday night October 21st 2016, brought us the 3rd edition UMB Ghana Tertiary Awards which was held at the National Theatre and students in the tertiary schools whose works have impacted their community and school were awarded.
Unfortunately, some of the winners didn’t receive their awards on the stage, but was closed-doors.
Wednesday November 9th, 2016, GH Media School received their award as the BEST MEDIA SCHOOL OF THE YEAR which was presented by the CEO of Youth Web Ghana, Mr. Richmond Amofa-Sarpong to the Rector of the school Mr. Leslie Addo Listowell, which was held at the School’s TV Studio, Achimota.
The occasion was witnessed by some officials of the GTA, Administration, Staff, Students and SRC Board of GH Media School, Media Houses and Founder & Leader of Christlife Glory Ministries Rev. Ernest Ohene who chaired the occasion.
These will be their second award-winning of the Ghana Tertiary Awards. In 2015 Ghana Tertiary Awards, the school won Most Promising Tertiary Institution of the Year in Ghana.
This year’s edition the school had eleven (11) nominations but was able to grab two (2) out the eleven (11), Best Male MC of the Year won by Kobby Acheampong and Best Media School of the Year.
