Keche performing for 40 people
Yes oo I am back again with my Wahala.
Checking your budget, abandoning the online team, paying for TV & Radio to do COS 90 works, is a huge part of addiction with our event organizers.
I am beginning to feel uncomfortable with how some event organizers in Ghana spoil the brand of artistes with their mediocre promotion.
Sometimes i ask musicians who have been victims to such flopped events – How much cedis are you being offered that you would even consider jeopardizing your career? Ghanaian artists please do your basic home work on promoters that come to you to promote you on their shows.
We can all recall the disaster that happened to Abba Investment group on 14th February.
The organizers for F14 Concert had the worst musical concert ever held at the Accra International Conference Center.
An event which had show headliners including Amakye Dede, R2Bees, Nana Quame, DKB, Kacey Moore, Jacinta, Abenkwan and others on the bill was intended to occupy and treat couples to some entertaining performances.
However, fans witnessed the opposite of what they had pay to feel.

I thought this was going to be the last time Ghana is hosting a flop event but with the pictures on my dashboard, I can say with no fear that F14 Concert was far far better than what i am yet to emphasize on.
Just in case you dont know. The main job of an event promoter is to publicise the concert and make sure things go off without a hitch but this is not the case usually with our organizers. I have photographed almost every single show that has occurred in Accra in the past few years but I can count how many shows that was sold out or half full.
Recently one of Ghana’s musical legends was booked to perform in an almost empty 6000 capacity venue. If I have to release the images of that show that will be bad publicity for this legendary artiste.
If you don’t have even enough money for posters and pay people for hype. Why go through the hustle in the first place. These artist spent hours rehearsing for the night and they come to meet this??
See pictures of a show held yesterday inside LA Trade Fair with Nigeria’s Burna Boy and South Africa’s AKA on bill.
These two artistes are really huge in their respected countries and to see them leave their homelands to perform on a stage in another country for just 40 people tells a lot.
Manager of Hiplife group Keche, George Mensah Britton who witnessed the event shared series of pictures and also confirmed the crowd for the night was 40.
Yes you heard him right. 40 people out of the over 24 million population in Ghana went to the event.
Well not the kinda crowd artistes or event organizers would want to have. Little over 40 people were at the Trade Fair center for the Burna Boy Concert but we still had to perform. #TheSkillTeam #GB
