An article circulated online with the title ‘Bisa k’dei Is An Imitator, He Copied My Style Of Singing Way Back- Singlet.’ This baseless, untrue and speculative article is attracting undue attention for the Reporter who is on an attention-seeking-libido.
Singlet, real name Benjamin Walter Addison is a promising Up and Coming Artiste based in Takoradi has refuted this story, saying he has not spoken to any Reporter concerning the headline so he is surprised where the said Reporter had the story from. ‘’Our Artiste hasn’t spoken to anyone on Bisa Kdei. I don’t know where this is coming from and this is one of the ways some people use to destroy other people’s career’’ Singlet’s Manager, Joseph Tachie-Menson revealed.
Management of Singlet told www.233times.com that, any time Singlet is interviewed and asked about those he draws intention from, he mentions Bisa Kdei’s name in addition so nothing will make Singlet spew such words about Bisa Kdei. ‘In his own words, ”If you want to know about some of the names he mentions when he is interviewed, call Skyy Power FM in Takoradi to get you some of his interviews and you will know he always mentions Bisa’s name.”
‘’Even the said show the Reporter said Bisa met Singlet and told him he is good and all that, Singlet wasn’t there. It was Derby Ghanaian promoter who Mc’ed the event so you can ask him if Singlet was even there that time. Bisa was there though’’ Joseph Tachie-Menson, Singlet’s Manager and the Organizer of the said Tesano pool party further revealed.
According to Manager of Singlet, they saw the publication as one of those popular satirical pieces which some section of Ghanaian Bloggers are preoccupied with so they treated it beneath contempt but ‘’I kept receiving calls from fans and family asking me about the story and I wasn’t sure what they were saying. I even shared the story on my Facebook page after I saw Bisa Kdei’s Manager (Akuffo) sharing it, so I personally thought it was those satirical piece from these Bloggers who are not serious. Currently, we are putting plans together to promote our new video ‘Sumsumpe’ in few days time and also release some other sings so I have no idea why some people want to distract our projects and good works.”
Singlet’s Manager, Joseph Tachie-Menson has rendered an unqualified apology to Bisa Kdei, his fans and family for the disrespect and the false impression the article might have brought him. ‘’We are sorry for what this story might have brought to Bisa and his fans and his family. We will follow up to the last drop and know the motive behind such false publication from the Reporter. We are not behind this and I must again say to Bisa Kdei that, we are sorry for this’’ Singlet’s Manager apologized.
Management of Singlet is by publication making everyone know that, the said story about Singlet disrespecting Bisa Kdei is preposterous, speculative and absolutely misleading.
