Confidence Haugen has closed down her first signature Night Club-Aphrodisiac which operated from Dzorwulu in Accra—and the closure marks a new beginning for the entrepreneur who will be making another big announcement soon.
For nearly 11 years, the multiple-award winning Aphrodisiac Night Club in Accra has hosted some of the biggest world stars—and has served as a weekly night life joint for several ordinary Ghanaians.
Confidence Haugen, CEO of Venus World Limited, the operators of the Aphrodisiac Night Club franchise said it has become necessary to shut down the Accra branch of Aphrodisiac but the Kumasi branch will stay in operation—and a new branch is set to be opened in Takoradi soon.
As to why the closure has become necessary, Confidence said; Aphrodisiac in Accra opened a new chapter in her life—and with another chapter to be opened soon, she wouldn’t have the needed time to manage the place as well as she wants, together with the new chapter.
Also, the current power crisis in Ghana popularly known as ‘Dumsor’ has become unbearable—affecting the operation of the business, Confidence noted.
The CEO added that, she has had countless great fun at the Accra branch of Aphrodisiac over the years—and she believes several Ghanaians will miss the place. But everything that has a beginning, has an end—and that for her, the end sets forth a new beginning.
Management of Aphrodisiac Night Club-Accra wishes to thank the staff, patrons, distributors and everyone who was part of the long successful journey over the many years—and all those who will continue to support the Aphrodisiac brand.
