On the Monday, the 2nd of May this year, some talented, intelligent gentlemen and ladies of the GH MEDIA SCHOOL campus will once again battle it out to determine who has the looks and the brains as the 'FACE of GH Media 2016'.
Face of GH Media is an annual event organized by the SRC Executives of GH Media School. And this will be its 3rd edition. Which will be held in GH Media School (Main Lecture Hall), Located at Achimota,Abofu.
The Face of GH Media was opened to student in level 100s and 200s.
The contestants chosen for this event were selected from the pools of applicants, recruited by our teams prior to the launch of the program the contestants will be randomly selected and categorized into groups to execute tasks allocated, these tasks be with regards to identification of a societal canker and attempt solving them as well as providing detailed reports on them the negotiating abilities of contestants will be tested on solving such problems throughout their preparation.
In this contest pageant selected from this edition will go through series of competitive stages, where all these skills are displayed in style. Contestants will be seen competing in the following areas Athleticism; knowledge of historical and contemporary trivia, an essay presentation of each contestant’s role model, tourism, community visits and service mentoring initiative, pictures taking sessions collection of autographs, a show case of decent dresses and corporate wear debates among many others and a talented queen and king in order to be crowned the winner in the end, to represent the future of Ghana's media.
The theme for this year’s event is “Crowning the Future of Ghana's media”.
The pageant starts around 6:00pm to 10:00pm and some renowned and finest DJs will storm the auditorium with their unique and outstanding way of 'deejaying'.
This years pageant will see some great and amazing performances from K-Seed, Tee Rhyme, Jeff Jay, High Priest and others.
To be hosted by two hottest and finest MC PY and Nakki.
This year's pegeant will grace with the presence of legendary Miss Ghana 1992 winner Mrs Bridget Dzorgbenuku and Charles Dzorgbenuku.
The FACE of GH Media, is a GH Media School event, powered by SRC Executives, and Tigo and Rush Energy Drink will sponsor this year's edition and media partners; Campus Filla, Entertainment GH, Nanakesse24.com, Studio233.
GH Media School recently won Most Promising Tertiary institution in the Ghana Tertiary Awards 2015 and is been tugged as Ghana's fastest growing media school. GH Media School proud itself with student well-vexed in diverse talents and gifting from TV production, Radio/TV presenting, Modeling, Acting, Event Management, Public Relation & Advertising, Media Marketing , and many more.
The epic event also provides the platform to award students who have distinguished themselves in their academic work as well as general attitude.
This year's edition is free. The show will be followed by an after-party inside the school premises. FACE of GH Media is an annual event organized by the SRC Executives, GH Media School.
'FACE of GH Media 2016' certianly promises to be one-of-a-kind event in beauty, talent, intelligence, eloquence and pure confidence. With music, dance performance and fun; and the euphoria will be long lasting.
